The "slave's Road": Final part of the itinerary accomplished by the slaves in Ouidah. It begins at the Place to the Bids and finishes in front of the Door of the non Return (Place of the bids, Place of the tree of the oblivion, Place of Case Zomaï, Memorial of Zoungbodji, Tree of the return and Door of the non Return). This course is about 3 km and is staked out by places of memory, of the monuments, and by statutes. If it is worth coming in Ouidah, it is worth seeing this place!
"The Road of the Fishings: Situated along the coast, the road of the fishings spreads on 30 km between Fidjrossè (Cotonou) and the Door of the Non - Return at Djègbadji’s beach (Ouidah). The Road of the Fishings is characterized by the beauty of the landscape, of the mangrove swamps, of the islands of Djondji and Djègbadji, of the beaches with the coconut trees, the maritime facade and the purity of the nature.

"Several patrimonial sites: The Historic Museum of Ouidah, the museum of de Souza Family, the Museum of the Door of the Return, the Former Houses in Brazilian architectures, the places of the former Fort (Portuguese Fort today known as historic museum of Ouidah, French Fort, English Fort , Dutch Fort, and Danish Fort).
"Several sacred sites: The consecrated forests of Savi, Kpassè, Avélékété, Houakpè-Daho; the Temple of the Pythons, several temples of Vodoun, the Basilica and the Seminary Saint Gall, Houhoué (Daagbo Hounnon house), the Ahizounmè place (market of King Houffon), the Zolokotin, Agadja Lègba, Guézo Lègba (Legba is an African watching divinity).
At least about twenty hotels and inns and many scrubs and restaurants are implanted in the township to improve the journey of the visitors. The tourist activities are still under the govern of the decentralized services of the Ministry in charge of Tourism. There is not yet a real transfer of competence in the Town concerning this sector. The civil society is not very organized and active in the sector of culture and tourism except two of them, the IDEE Institute and the NGO called IDDOR.
